Circle Time

Each day of the week brings a unique opportunity for children to explore, create, discover, and grow.

Monday – Curriculum Exploration
Children enjoy hands-on learning experiences centered around topics in our curriculum, such as the universe, the solar system, the continents, animals, nature, cultures, and many other fascinating subjects that spark curiosity and inspire a love of learning.

Tuesday – Show & Share
Children bring an item that begins with the Letter of the Week to share with their classmates. This special time encourages language development, builds confidence in public speaking, and helps children practice listening and communication skills.

Wednesday – Science Discovery
Our young scientists investigate the world through fun, hands-on experiments. By observing, testing, predicting, and exploring, children develop critical thinking skills while discovering the wonders of science.

Thursday – Creative Enrichment
Children participate in enriching activities that may include cooking, arts and crafts, or learning a new language such as American Sign Language (ASL), Spanish, or Thai. These experiences encourage creativity, cultural awareness, and practical life skills.

Friday – Music & Movement
Music is an important part of our program. Children explore rhythm, melody, musical notes, and a variety of instruments through singing, movement, and hands-on experiences. Music nurtures creativity, self-expression, coordination, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

Montessori Work Time

During the Montessori work cycle, children have the freedom to choose activities that interest them from carefully prepared shelves. Teachers thoughtfully guide and observe, encouraging independence while helping each child grow at their own pace.

As children select, carry, complete, and return their work, they are actively engaging both their hands and their minds. These purposeful activities strengthen concentration, problem-solving, coordination, fine motor skills, and critical thinking—all while fostering confidence and a genuine love of learning.

The Montessori work cycle is a remarkable experience that is best appreciated in person.

Outside Time

Children enjoy at least 90 minutes of outdoor play every day—rain, shine, or even snow! We believe that time spent outdoors is essential for healthy growth and development.

Outdoor play gives children the opportunity to run, climb, explore nature, build friendships, strengthen their gross motor skills, and enjoy fresh air. These daily experiences support their physical health, social development, creativity, and overall well-being.

Our outdoor program also meets the requirements established by our state licensing agency, ensuring children receive the daily active play they need to thrive.

There is no such thing as bad weather—just the right clothing for outdoor adventures!
